What is the MAP Meeting?
Medical Aesthetics Professionals (MAP) Meeting is a conference specially designed for those looking to start or enhance their medical spa or add aesthetics into their existing practice.
We partnered with leading experts in the field who hold extensive experience in opening and operating medical spas and teaching Medical Aesthetics. Having direct views into the industry’s strengths and weaknesses, MAP has developed a program specific to the needs of multi-level practitioners and medical spa owners and operators who are looking for a step by step manual on how to earn more, grow their businesses, further their clinical knowledge and experience, and/or incorporate Medical Aesthetics into their everyday medical practice safely and confidently.

Julie Bass Kaplan is a Family Nurse Practitioner who began her Medical Aesthetics career in 1999.

Erika serves as an international trainer for industry power players such as Allergan, Revance, and Galderma, and as a leading speaker for Evolus, Merz, and InMode.
Erika co-owns Moksha Aesthetics, a state-of-the-art medical spa in Potomac, Maryland. In addition to Moksha, she co-owns Aesthetic Intel, a training company that works to educate top doctors, NPs, PAs, and RNs on cutting edge neuromodulator injections and dermal filler techniques.
She has also built a virtual community of injectors through her platform on Patreon, with subscribers from around the world tuning in to learn all things aesthetics. Through her page, Erika demonstrates injection techniques, showcases how to consult with patients, discusses business development and growth, makes product suggestions and lectures on anatomy.
Jonathan Cook, MD, FACS
Dr. Jonathan Cook, MD, is a double board-certified plastic surgeon at Sanctuary Plastic Surgery in Boca Raton, FL. With over a decade of expertise, he specializes in breast enhancement, body sculpting, and laser/nonsurgical rejuvenation. Known for his warm, professional, and thorough approach, Dr. Cook completed a plastic surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, followed by a hand and microsurgery fellowship at the University of Miami. Erica is the President of Influx Marketing. She has extensive experience in the subjects of public relations and digital marketing. Erica works with hundreds of aesthetic medical providers to help them build and/or grow their practices. She also contributes to continuing medical education as a faculty speaker for numerous aesthetic organizations and conventions, and she maintains relationships within the industry to stay abreast of innovations in the aesthetics space.

Johnny Franco, MD
Dr. Johnny Franco, MD, from Austin Plastic Surgeon graduated from Beloit College with a BS in Biochemistry and earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Franco completed his residency in plastic surgery at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, serving as chief resident from 2010-2011.

Kaitlyn Jones, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant, practicing at Cool Springs Plastic Surgery in Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a Masters of Science in Medicine. Prior to completing her Masters degree, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama. Kaitlyn combined her love of both engineering and medicine by first accepting a job in medical and surgical dermatology and aesthetics, where she focused on lasers and research efforts concerning the physiologic effects of lasers on the skin. She currently works in plastics, where she continues these efforts.
Michael A. C. Kane, MD
Dr. Kane is a noted plastic surgeon who has lectured internationally at the forefront of non-surgical facial rejuvenation. He graduated from the Jefferson Medical College five-year Program in Cooperative Medical Education, attaining both his undergraduate degree and medical degree in only five years. He was a member of the Hobart Hare Honor Society in medical school. Dr. Kane then completed a general surgery residency at New York Medical College. Dr. Kane’s plastic surgical training consisted of a residency at Wright State University and the fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital.

Sabrina King, LME, CDT
Sabrina King is a Licensed Master Aesthetician and Certified Body Contouring Specialist who works closely with patients by developing custom treatment plans to help them reach their goals. She is also a Certified Dermatology Technician and Certified Medical Assistant. She teaches at the Aesthetic Mentor when she does not see her patients. Her specialties include fat reduction, skin tightening, body smoothing and contouring, and anti-aging and prevention treatments. Sabrina has been licensed and practicing in the aesthetic field for 19 years. Chris Robb MD, PhD
Chris W. Robb, MD PhD, FAAD is co-founder of Skin and Allergy Center and SAC Cosmetic. He completed undergraduate work at Baylor University and received a Ph.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Microbiology and Immunology. Dr. Robb earned his MD from Texas Tech School of Medicine in 2003 and completed a Dermatology Residency at Vanderbilt. Dr. Robb is a board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon who performs medical and surgical dermatology, MOHs surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Robb is nationally and internationally known as a leader in the field of lasers and cosmetics.
